First time I´ve used watercolour, I didn´t like it, because of the „powerless“ consistency. I missed the resistance of the material. For me it was too smooth, weak, nothing corporeal.
But I rediscovered painting or drawing with watercolour! And I find out how fine it is when I throw the water over my surface, especially paper. I like the way of disappearing and the appearing of new traces, new colours and straying. Its a battle for me, redrawing, reconstructing the running water. Its like drawing in the sand along the waterborder of the sea!Veronika Wenger
